I was one of the finalists in Only Original's International Art Competition. You can go here to see the winner's work plus a selection of all the finalists' work, or you can go here to see my page. The judge not only wrote a statement for the winner, but she also wrote a statement for each of the finalists detailing her thoughts on the work. It's interesting to actually see the judge's thoughts paired with the accepted work.

I'm in Art for Progress' Clash of the Artists 2011. Between now and March 31st, the online community can pick one artist in each section that is their favorite. The top ten artists from the online voting are reviewed by a panel of judges, and the top three get their artwork featured in New York. So vote for me! My work is in the Visual Artist category.
One of my newer paintings, Mimicry, is in the New Rochelle Council on the Arts Juried Exhibition this year. The show is in the New Rochelle Public Library in New Rochelle, NY. The show runs from March 1 until the 31, with a reception on this Sunday, March 6th, from 5:15 until 7.
Simultaneous Systems II made the top 100 in the 2011 Paintings and Drawings International, which is an online exhibit. You can get to the show here. The show had 567 entries from 11 countries, so the top 100 is a little better than the top 20%. They also have a book of the exhibition for sale there.
Dividing Indivisibility is a show of some of my MFA works. It's up now through June 12 at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. Fisher Gallery is open daily from 9am to 9pm. Check back soon for pictures of the show!
